    Hey everyone, thanks for your feedback and votes on this idea!

    I definitely think it would be really useful to gain quick access to see who has access to what. That way you would be able to see who has access to certain Jobs and Tasks, or even vice versa.

    Thank you for sharing your idea, and allowing folks to have a forum to support and vote for it.

    It does currently map based on the names of the jobs in ClockShark and Sage, so if those match then it will map. But I can definitely see how the job number would be a more accurate system if done properly.

    We would use it as our daily sheet as well, fill out materials used as noted above and other notes pertinent to the day's work or the work on that clocked time.

    Hey Scott, thanks for sharing your idea with us!

    I could definitely see how that could be helpful. There are a couple of things that may help you in the meantime as we don’t have exactly what you’re looking for.

    On our approvals page, you can quickly view and compare the total hours between employees before you approve them. If you want to see more details about the start and end times, job worked, and task worked then you could open up two timesheet windows and side by side on just your browser.

    Hopefully this helps! Since we have tons of ideas, we tend to prioritize all suggestions with the most traction and support. If this becomes a popular request, we will build it!

    Any movement on this? It's very frustrating restricting tasks in jobs and having to do them one by one and search for them (please add the code numbers to the task name!!!!!). There's a higher potential of error which happens often when a code is missed in the initial add. Would love to have a grouping option for codes so if it's a roofing job we add a group of the roofing codes, if it's waterproofing, we add a group of the roofing codes instead of one by one. Would absolutely be thrilled to see this done this year.

    Has there been any development on this? We are limiting tasks on jobs now so our field crews don't have to scroll through all options available. Having to search for each to add them in has created many possibilities of error on items missed or incorrect items added. Would really love the possibility of creating default task groups to set up and select from!!

    I really hope this is something being worked on! We're switching to 'Allow only' for tasks to reduce the error of selecting incorrect tasks on projects, but occasionally I miss a code or two in setup and have a frustrated field tech sending me messages to add their task to the list. Additionally, really want to be able to see the task code # in the setup vs just the text name.

    This is exactly the type of suggestion I was going to add as well. It would be great to set tasks to a pre-set group, so during job creation, we could simply select a group that would populate in the task control. I would like the group of tasks to be able to be pulled in, but perhaps all the individual tasks would show up so additional codes could be added or some from the group could be removed if not needed for that particular job. Tasks would need to be able to be added to multiple group types (i.e. we do sheet metal work on different types of jobs, so it would need to be able to be part of group 1 for roofing, group 2 for walls, group 3 for service work).

    Hey Cindi, thanks for reaching out to us with your feedback.

    Our columns for things like Job number, task code, etc. are all sorted alphabetically since a large majority of our users input both numbers and letters.

    I can definitely see how this could be improved, however.

    One thing I should mention as a quick workaround is to use the same number of digits for numbers. For example: 121, 13, and 145 will sort in that order. But you can correct this by using 013, 121, and 145.

    I noticed this the other day and it was very frustrating trying to find our current jobs. We number our projects by the current year 21001 for example, and all our work orders are a separate 4 digit number that just counts up, 8000 for example. Right now, it sees 8000 as a larger number than 21001, so the sorting is off.
