Hi Chris!
Depending on what information needs to be communicated to employees (schedule changes, upcoming job start time), there may already be a notification available in ClockShark. Feel free to check out http://help.clockshark.com/knowledgebase/articles/1133746-using-notifications to see how those notifications suit your needs. :)
Regarding the ability to craft particular messages and send them directly through the app, this is a request that we are hearing more-and-more. I’m sharing this with our development team, and we’ll continue to monitor the votes here for this idea, so we can know when we should add that for you.
If you have any other ideas or suggestions, you can let me know at cliff@clockshark.com. I love to hear how we can improve ClockShark for you.

Reading through the suggestions I noticed many request to Clock Shark in reguards to the schedule view feature. Several times ClockShark said that what they requested was available or is now available. I believe that it was not. From the view as any app user; Admin , Employee or Foreman you should be able to see the schedule as it shows on the desktop. Or something similar where it shows the job with all employees listed. For instance a Foreman gets his message that the schedule is available and then he has to click on all of the employees to see who works with him. Same for the employee , they have to search for who they work with. Say for instance the Admin wants to do the same. This takes a lot longer and it makes it harder to move crews or employees around if necessary or change the work force at a certain job site without going to the desktop.
