Hey everyone, thanks for all your votes and comments! This is one of the more popular ideas and definitely a feature we want to build.
At the moment there are a lot of other ideas that we think are going to provide more immediate value. But this is still very much on our radar and something we will want to address. Please keep the votes and comments coming!

Hi Chris!
Depending on what information needs to be communicated to employees (schedule changes, upcoming job start time), there may already be a notification available in ClockShark. Feel free to check out http://help.clockshark.com/knowledgebase/articles/1133746-using-notifications to see how those notifications suit your needs. :)
Regarding the ability to craft particular messages and send them directly through the app, this is a request that we are hearing more-and-more. I’m sharing this with our development team, and we’ll continue to monitor the votes here for this idea, so we can know when we should add that for you.
If you have any other ideas or suggestions, you can let me know at cliff@clockshark.com. I love to hear how we can improve ClockShark for you.

When I finish writing the schedule and I select Notify Employees I always select to notify them by both email and text. It would be great if I could add a general message to them all.
For Example: Dont forget its Jersey Day Monday!
Example: Its calling for bad weather this week make sure you dress for it!Geremey Engle supported this idea ·
Mileage Tracker for tax purposes.
Come tax time I itemize the mileage put on my business vehicle. I have a separate app that I pay and track this with. Having more information in one place would be helpful. I believe you guys already have the makings to make this possible.
For example when I start my day I could login and select task of commuting to x job. Then when I get to the job select my task and when I leave the job I would select task of commuting again.
You guys on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis would be able to show potential savings just like you do with using the scheduling
