This idea and method is interesting. We currently have it set by the Job because that is usually the most frequently changed item. Usually companies are adding a lot of Jobs so it make sense the add the permission while you are creating the Jobs. Otherwise, you’d have to create the Job and then also go update the departments/employees to include that Job. And you’d have to do that everytime you add a Job which could be a lot.
With as many ideas as we receive, and limited work time, lets see if idea will pick up some traction and support. If this becomes a popular request, we will build it!

We have increased the number of integrations we have and also have an integration with Zapier to help you connect with thousands of other services.
An open API is not currently in development, due to demand for other features and improvements. But please keep voting and sharing your comments!

It does currently map based on the names of the jobs in ClockShark and Sage, so if those match then it will map. But I can definitely see how the job number would be a more accurate system if done properly.

I definitely agree, we just added the new Employee ID field but there are some areas we can add it that would be super helpful.

Hey Travis, thank you for sharing your idea, and allowing folks to have a forum to support and vote for it.
Just to gather some more feedback, are you wanting the employees to have two separate attachment sections essentially. One just for receipts, and one for the other photos they take?
Or are you wanting them to be able to view photos associated with that job and also have them be able to upload their own photos?

We are currently in the process of building a report that does something very similar. This report would be able to give you all the notifications like “late in”, “missing clock out”, “out of bounds”, etc. for certain employees and days.

Hey again! That was me that merged your idea with the other idea so I might not be fully understanding this. I know you want the idea of an “admin only” note that they could view on the timesheets.
Would this be attached to the employee’s shift itself, or as a standalone note with no time associated with it. Almost like you could just put an admin only sticky note on the timesheets page. Something like on the 1/31/2020 timesheet for John Smith “John’s car broke down today, he won’t be in till 3 pm.”
Or would you like an admin only note that could be both associated with or without a time segment? Thanks for more information!
