Hey Zach we prioritize all suggestions with the most traction and support. With great support, this idea will become one of our upcoming feature releases, so please keep voting!
That being said, if you needed something functional in the meantime I would recommend maybe a shared folder on a program such as Google Drive. With this, you can share these documents with just a simple link.

Thanks for the suggestion, Aric. We are debuting “Overtime Alerts” for administrators very soon that will provide that information to the Admin and they can reach out to the employee to see why they’re still on the clock.
But we will keep our eyes on this idea and the support it gathers to see if we should build that too.

Adding more details to an employee’s profile to track their employment history, hiring documents, performance notes, etc. is a very inspired idea. Thanks so much for sharing that. We will keep this idea monitored as people begin to vote for it.

Thanks for the suggestion, Miranda. Out of curiosity, are requesting that ClockShark’s jobs be mappable to QuickBooks classes? We do have that option, but I just want clarify, in case there is a different feature you have in mind.
Feel free to let me know your thoughts on this.

Hey guys, thank you so much for the idea! I definitely see the value of a feature such as this. While we don’t have this exact feature at the moment, there is something that might be useful to you guys. One of our more recent features was the ability for the users to be able to edit their notes without actually editing the time. So in a similar sense the employee could leave you a note that they need the job/task updated for them and still not be able to change the time. That may help for the time being, but we keep this request under review!

Thanks for sharing your idea, Pawel. This would certainly help ensure that colors don’t get duplicated, but I do anticipate it requiring more colors to be added to ClockShark. It’s a great idea, and I look forward to hearing how other users respond to it. Go ahead and vote, folks; and we’ll consider adding this in a future update.

Thanks for the suggestion. We’ll consider adding this. One thing to try is creating a bookmark for the Who’s Working Now screen: then, any time you click it (even after logging in), it will redirect you there.

Hi Chris!
Depending on what information needs to be communicated to employees (schedule changes, upcoming job start time), there may already be a notification available in ClockShark. Feel free to check out http://help.clockshark.com/knowledgebase/articles/1133746-using-notifications to see how those notifications suit your needs. :)
Regarding the ability to craft particular messages and send them directly through the app, this is a request that we are hearing more-and-more. I’m sharing this with our development team, and we’ll continue to monitor the votes here for this idea, so we can know when we should add that for you.
If you have any other ideas or suggestions, you can let me know at cliff@clockshark.com. I love to hear how we can improve ClockShark for you.

Thanks for sharing your support for this idea here! As support continues to mount for this idea, our development team will plan how to bring this to you in ClockShark. :)
Reading this idea, and all the comments below, I can see that the consensus is that administrators would like a way to designate an Off/Holiday/PTO day, without having to insert any time for an employee. Currently, in ClockShark there is an available workaround that’s equivalent to the feature being requested.
If you’d like to see how to designate that an employee will be taking (or took) a day off, Morgan from our Customer Success team explains how to do that here: https://soapbox.wistia.com/videos/SkNhqgi9Kc
Feel free to let me know if this video is helpful, or if you have any other suggestions/ideas regarding how we can improve ClockShark for you. I love hearing your ideas.
