IF Rules for Overtime/Job Costing
Create an overtime IF functionality. For example, IF an employee exceeds 40 hours in a work week, then apply it to the days that exceed 8 hours. Or a feature that let's you choose which jobs the Overtime is costed to when you approve the timesheet. That way you aren't stuck with always having the OT hit the last job they work on in the pay period.

Print all employee time sheets separately
I like to include your ClockShark timesheet summary with each employee's payroll stub. However, I have to filter each employee and print out their timesheet summary for the specific pay period. Is there a way to print all employee's time clock summaries for the respective pay period? Do not need each employee's summary on the same printable sheet, but one employee's timesheet per printable sheet via an easy "print all timesheets" option.

Setup Employee Access Using BamBooHR
We use many software's to manager and operate our business. It would be nice if you had an Integration with BambooHR. This is where we initial put new hires and so if you were integrated we would be able to populate new accounts based of the employees information entered on our HR Software. BamBooHR has these setup with other time tracking companies but i don't yet see ClockShark.

Include the Employee ID for Integration Mappings including Sage, QuickBooks, etc.
For the Sage Employee column, displaying the Sage Employee Number would be extremely convenient; or displaying the 'ID' for ClockShark; or simply some form of having additional employee information, than just the name.
In turn, it would ensure that mapping is done correctly -- we have a large employee list & it is common to have identical names every so often. Without this, it can cause an integration issue (i.e. applying time to the incorrect employee).

Intuit Online Payroll
Integration with Intuit Online Payroll would be great. We use IOP for tracking PTO as well and it would be great if we could integrate all this together.

Thanks for sharing your ideas with us Bryan!
Integrations are always tricky because we need lots of companies to request it in order to take the time to build and support the integration. Intuit Online Payroll may be ending its service soon as well as they make the transition toward QuickBooks Online Payroll.
If we get a lot of support though, this is something we can look into.

Add employee file or ID numbers
Employee file or ID numbers attached to each employee and visible on the timesheets and in reports would reduce any errors of persons with the same last name. This would also be an easier way to search.

ability to access/edit job notes by managers
Our techs use job notes to let us know what materials were used and what work was done.
We would like to have managers be able to edit those notes to input material pricing and additional notes so that info can be used to bill jobs.1 voteJT Abbott responded
Hey Elisa thanks for providing your feedback and the detailed reasoning behind it!
You could give your managers the ability to edit the timesheets for the techs and this would allow them to edit the notes. It would also allow them to edit the rest of the shift which may or may not be desired.
One other thing that might help is using our new Conversations feature. This allows anyone with access to the job to comment on the job and share notes/files. You can check out the example I’m attaching. Along with commenting, you can also mention users and they can get notified about it or they can follow jobs for continued updates. This is also on the website and the mobile app so everyone can communicate together.
You can check out this help article for more information or let me know any questions.

Mapping jobs to Sage 100 Contractor by Job # instead of the description
Currently when mapping jobs from ClockShark to Sage 100 Contractor, it maps based on the description. Our job names in Sage are almost never the same description they are in ClockShark. So currently none of our jobs automatically map, I have to do them manually.

Thank you for sharing your idea, and allowing folks to have a forum to support and vote for it.
It does currently map based on the names of the jobs in ClockShark and Sage, so if those match then it will map. But I can definitely see how the job number would be a more accurate system if done properly.
With limited work time and lots of ideas, we prioritize all suggestions with the most traction and support. With great support, this idea will become one of our upcoming feature releases, so please keep voting!

Add API Integration
Adding API integration would allow users to develop 3rd party applications to gather data from this system and put it into a common data base where other important company data exists.
The purpose would be to allow users to begin to look at KPIs specific to their business which would include the data form this application.
One of the biggest problems that I run into as a small business is figuring out how to integrate all of the different information systems within our organization. API makes that an easy solution to this problem.

Hey everyone, thanks for the continued support and votes for this idea!
We have increased the number of integrations we have and also have an integration with Zapier to help you connect with thousands of other services.
An open API is not currently in development, due to demand for other features and improvements. But please keep voting and sharing your comments!
