  1. Bulk permissions for employees and departments

    Have the ability to add permissions to groups of employees and/or departments. This would be particularly helpful during the initial setup phase.

  2. Force/Push sync

    Everytime you Change something. Employees have to sync there app, to get it. My idea is to have a tab under admin, so they can force sync new additions, so information is consistent throughout the app.

  3. Just Scheduling Start Times

    I would like to schedule start times rather than time slots. In our line of work, we schedule a start time and work until the task is complete, not to a scheduled stop point. I would like to use the feature that sends out start times to our employees, but at this point it causes confusion due to the start and stop times.

    If the goal is to not have the employees get a reminder to clock out, you can change this on the Admin > Notifications page. If you don’t want to require a clock out at all, then this idea is perfect.

  4. No automatic clock out after 23 hrs

    I am still working on getting all employees to use the app correctly, but I have several that will shut off their location & notification services because they say it drains the battery. Then if they forget to clock out they don't get a notification when leaving job site. If they were still clocked in the next morning they would see they didn't get clocked out and leave me a note.

    Hey Tracie, thanks for reaching out to us with your feedback!

    I can see your dilemma. The 23 hour clock out is really integrated in our system, and not something easily changed. Of course we can consider all possibilities.

    In the short term, you can have your crew not block notifications at least. Those should not have an impact on the battery life, although the location can especially for older phones.

    But if they allow notifications, they can also set up reminders for themselves to clock out. They can do this at a certain time everyday or after they have been on the clock for a certain time.

  5. Add jobs on mobile app from the Schedule

    It would be great to be able to add a job at the schedule screen on the mobile app. Unless Im doing it wrong I have to go to the clock in screen to add the job then go back to the schedule screen and select it.

    You are correct that right now the Time Clock is the only place on the mobile app where you can add a Job/Task.

    I think it definitely makes sense to add this on the scheduler though, when adding time manually, and even a couple other places.

  6. Add an 'open shifts' area that staff would be able to see.

    If staff are able to see any open shifts, they could add them to their schedule themselves. Having an admin approval would be needed as well.

  8. Manage Integration on the Mobile App

    Could we add the integration buttons and menus into the mobile app? It sucks to enter the job into (I use QuickBooks) and then have to login on my mobile browser which the site loads in desktop. Have to zoom in to find admins and integrations. Finish all that and have to switch back to the app to schedule

  9. Company Cost Time EXPENSING

    Ability to enter 'Work time' on a piece of company equipment as an expense and vs. having it designated as a 'Client Job'. Currently, ClockShark requires all time to be billed to a client JOB.

    This is an issue as we have Electricians, Labors and Mechanics who will work both on Client Jobs and thier time charged to said client jobs in SAGE, but then these same people will be doing 'Administrative' work for US the employer and the time spent working here actually needs to be billed to 'Equipment Maintenance' or 'Employee Training' or 'Administrative Costs'. This gets expensed…

    Hey Duane, thanks for reaching out to us and providing your feedback as well as explaining your workflow.

    So if I am understanding you correctly, you have some workers (electricians, laborers, mechanics, etc.) that will both track time for a client job, but also for “company time” which could involve administrative work, maintenance work, etc.

    I think the most straightforward solution would be to create new jobs called “Company Time”, “Administrative Work”, or something along those lines. Then when these workers are switching into this kind of work, they can switch to this Job on ClockShark as well and all the time would be correctly allocated.

    If this doesn’t work, maybe because it happens periodically throughout the day and they don’t have time to switch, you could still create these as jobs and manually enter in the time. How you get the correct amount of time would be the issue…

    Allow a Foreman/Employee scheduled to see his scheduled crew from his employee schedule tab.

    Hey Jonathan, a new feature we added allows you to view the schedule on the mobile app by job. This way the crew leader would be able to see everyone scheduled at once for a specific job. Do you think that adequately fills this need?

  11. Showing what jobs have the GEO fencing enabled in the Admin job list.

    Would be nice if there was a symbol added in the job list under Admin that would show the jobs that have the GEO fencing enable. When new jobs are added by Quickbook a person has to remember that the GEO fencing has to be set in the Admin section of Clock Shark. I have had to go through and open up each job to check for GEO setting. Would be less time consuming to just glace down to list to see which jobs had not been set.

  12. See more than one timesheet at a time on the mobile app

    I know that visual space is always an issue on mobile apps, but it would be helpful to be able to see all of the timesheets that I have access to at one time on the mobile app, similar to the way it's shown on the desktop. Currently, I have to click on each individual employee to view their timesheet.

    Visual space is the main limiter there like you said. One thing you can do though is open the website through your mobile browser to get that same view. This can be really useful with a tablet as well.

  13. Allow employees to access the menu from KioskClock

    It would be helpful to have the menu available to employees after they use their pin to get into the KioskClock. This way they could access the PTO feature and make time sheet corrections. To keep things consistent with KioskClock functionality, each action (edit, request, etc.) should require a picture to be taken.

  14. Improve Clock Out Questions to include CrewClock

    Allow clock out questions to be ask of the crew leader and not of the others that he is clocking in for. These questions can be used for Daily Field Reports if only the Lead can answer them. It doesn't work in crew clock.

    I can see how having the clock out questions on CrewClock would be great for crew leaders to still ensure that questions are getting answered.

    If the lead is the only answers that matter, you could have the lead clock everyone out, and then clock out themselves from the Time Clock on the app. Then they would have the clock out questions prompted!

    Let me know if that is a good solution, otherwise please keep voting and commenting everyone!

    The photo upload feature is a great idea but it needs a few tweaks. One such tweak is that it would be super to be able to select what resolution photos should be uploaded at. This would have to be an admin setting, not on individual phones.
    For us, the existing setting does not provide enough quality in the image and the image is very grainy when viewed on a PC screen. I think if it was uploaded at approx. twice the existing resolution, it would provide good quality images for viewing on a standard PC screen. …

  16. Clock-In & Clock-Out ALERTS & NOTIFICATIONS!

    When i'm at home-working remotely, i have no idea which one of my employees is clocking in. More Importantly, I want to know when and who is clocking OUT.

    E.g.
    Why is Dalton still logged in, but Angel is clocked out (They work together as a team). What is Dalton doing? Why is Dalton still on the clock? Did Dalton forget to clock out or is he working at the warehouse for some reason? This would give me better control over who is doing what and when they are doing it.

    Hey Chad, thanks for sharing your feedback with us! This is absolutely possible with our Who’s Working Now page. Here you can see a huge map of everyone’s locations and you’ll see pop ups whenever someone clocks in, goes on lunch, add an attachment, clocks out, etc.

    Then when they clock out for the day, all their time is available to be reviewed on the timesheets!

  17. Schedule filter

    Would be nice to set the time frame for "recently scheduled" and "recently added" jobs. If the Schedule would only show what is scheduled that week it would be easier to reconcile schedule to timesheets.

  18. Kiosk for Mircosoft Surface

    I would like to see the Kiosk function for Microsoft Surface. We are migrating over to Surfaces for safety paper work and other stuff and it would be nice if it was all in one place. Also making it so employees couldn't turn of GPS track, much easier I think to have a device that employees cant control.

    One thing you can do when you are in a bind in the field is just to visit clockshark.com on your mobile web browser and have that full functionality there. This is great if you have a tablet as well so the screen is a lot easier to work with.

  20. Edit & Save Attachments within app after uploaded.

    We would like to have a form filled out each day for various jobs. Allow editing an attached pdf within the app instead of having to edit/upload/delete/edit/upload etc. etc.
