My employees are being pinged every 15 minutes and it is draining their battery. I would like an option to not ping them so much. My foreman need to spend more time in their truck charging their battery than they need to.

Allow for an administrator to manually ping the GPS location of individual employees. Currently we have to use other apps to do this and it would be nice if it was all within ClockShark. This is because GPS intervals are not always every 15 minutes. We have times that they are about once an hour.

yep agree as if you leave it on all day it does drain battery or if you could choose a time for it to be active and deactivate if required .

This is a really great suggestion! Currently, ClockShark updates an employee's location at 15 minute intervals. This is a conservative interval that ensures that employee cell batteries aren't taxed by using their GPS.

Thanks for explaining why a different interval would be so helpful to your company. As your idea catches steam here on our voting page, we'll look into adding that to ClockShark. :)

This is a very good idea to show location between jobs for time schedules to inform customers if a employee is going to be late on arrival. This show good Public Relations with customers.

Ability for administrators to control how often GPS updates for each employee.

Pulling a location 3-4 times an hour drains the phone battery way to fast leaving our employees with no phone half way through the day. Many of the jobsites do not have anywhere to charge the phones and we need the guys to keep the phone on them to keep communication open. It would be great to be able to choose how many times we want it to track them.
