Allow a forced ping to be performed for GPStrak
With GPStrak sending a gps ping on occassion is great, but if you were able to press a button or something to make an employee's ping. That way you can see where they are on request rather than waiting.

Thanks for sharing this idea. Making a GPS “Blast” feature that could conservatively refresh all the locations of employees is something that our customers have begun asking for. Keep sending in those votes so that we know when exactly to build this for you.

I love this idea! I feel it would be extremely useful to have a "ping" option available per employee as well!

crys - The information you write about is available and should be for CS. Other services I've used gives pings every few minutes. CS updates every 10-15 minutes. It doesn't seem to be quite as accurate, but I would definitely like to see more pings. I also have an hour, sometimes more, of no updates for an individual when reviewing time sheets. Does this mean they switched to no tracking for an hour and came back to job and turned back on tracking?
The tracking "only when using app" should not be an option. The company should be allowed to mandate the button for all employees and they should not be able to turn off the tracking on the app as long as they are on the clock.

I would put a ping button or refresh button next to the employees name so you can get a real time location ping.

There are times when I need to know which employee is closest to a new pickup. Having the ability to ping certain employees would be helpful to making my business more efficient.

I love the new GPS trak feature that shows the route and pings. I think you guys are certainly moving toward more secured/accurate tracking. Having said that, It would be most beneficial to have an address at each ping. I have several employees that are disabling thier data or location etc. And also swear up and down they didn't leave a jobsite when indeed they have. When I approach them I don't really have any information to arm myself with to be able to say...well your last ping shows you at this address at this time, which is x amount of minutes or hours away from the jobsite. Instead I have to fish and hope they give the info. But most times theyll say well doesnt the tracker show you. Which in turn can make the employer look like they don't know what's going on and gives the employee a permission slip of sorts to test the waters as far as how accurate time tracking methods are. Our policy does require GPS tracking, but in order to dock those times that we cannot account for, it would be much more beneficial to be able to back up of all documentations with accurate/visible information etc. . Please consider this in upcoming changes to current features. I'd even be willing to pay a little more if that's what it takes. Thank you kindly and keep up the good work.
