Add a way for each employee to sign off on their daily time sheet saying its correct
Only the employee know what they have done that day. I believe that if they had to sign off on their time sheet saying it was correct, alot of things would be corrected by them not office staff.

We have since added a new feature called Clock Out Questions which allows you to create and ask a set of questions based on a set of employees, or if a certain job is worked. A lot of companies are using this as a way to have employees approve their time.
You can ask them at the end of each day “Do you approve your time?”, if they had a mistake they can select no and you can even get notified so you can fix their timesheet. Or you can have a questionnaire fire depending on a certain job you create.
Other than that, we do really want to add an approval option that is able to be done from the mobile app itself. Please keep voting and commenting!

Make the employee approve their time sheet every week. All to often I get employees who tell me that their time was not correct because they forgot to clock back in or they accidentally clocked out on a certain day but forgot to tell me and I have already printed and signed their paycheck for the week. If they could look at their hours for the week and approve them then that would take the burden off of me to write them an additional check or somehow correct their mistake.

Create an electronic signature option for timesheets so that employees do not have to sign a physical copy of their timesheet at the end of each pay period. Also, allow for custom pay periods to be entered.

Is there any update on this yet? It's been years 2+ years since original post... this is a real necessity. Seems like it should be an easy update to add option for employees to sign their timesheet at the end of pay period.

Yes, Really NEED the employees to have the ability to approve time, via the App

Allow Admin to enable option for a manager signature line and auto affix a digital signature for the manager of that employee on the timesheet to save the manager’s time. Currently, we need to print out and have the manager sign off on each timecard manually.

Make it mandatory for an employee to sign their timesheet at the end of each week.

Find a way where employees are required to sign their timesheet weekly and on the app.

ABSOLUTELY this a needed feature for this app to actually replace paper time sheets. As others have mentioned, it takes away from what the app is intended to do if employers have to print up time sheets and employees have to come in to sign off on their time. Please consider adding the ability for employees to "sign off" (i.e. approve) their time sheets via the app.
Thanks! -

Approval via the app rather than only approval on website. Also a required approval setting so they have to approve it.

So we agree there should be a in-app approval for weekly time sheet sign off. This is an app right?
Why would we want to deal with paper and having to go hunt down all the employees to sign them. It takes away from the whole idea of this app. By the way, this is the easiest time clock/ scheduler that I have had to use. Thank you for that. With a few more updates this will be 5 stars for sure. -

Add a check box for employees to select once their weekly time sheet is confirmed correct.

Agreed, in-app approval of the timesheet is a huge necessity. Please consider adding this capability! Employees using this app have smart phones and therefore should be able to sign their name on the screen using their finger. Thanks!

Just a general electronic approval of either daily or weekly time would be great. The reports are huge as they only print 1 page per week. If the employee approved their time daily at clock out or at weekly intervals, it would be great!

FAR Compliance for gov't contractors requires record locking, mandatory explanations for edited punches, digital signature, multiple payroll items for Cust:jobs.

We would like an in app approval so the employees don't have to travel to the main office just to sign their time sheets.

could you use a FINALIZE job as a digital signature? Like a specific job called Sign My Time Sheet and by clocking in they acknowledge that by clocking in they are agreeing to the times submitted then clock right back out? More of an operation than a software solution but anywho :o)

Weekly sign off would be good enough for me.

Currently we are just calling our employees to confirm their hours each cycle. We have no way for them to sign them as they are in different states and dont have access to computers to sign their time sheets.

Right, currently we are printing them out during payroll and having them sign. Having the option to electronically sign/submit after their review would help for legal reason like disputes
