adding attachments in kiosk mode
Looks like the ability is there to add notes when an employee is in kiosk mode, but it does not have the ability to add an attachment (photos, etc).

Require Notes Entry with Certain Task Entries
We have a crew of contractors that enter services outside of their contracted scope to be invoiced for jobs. Can we make it mandatory that they enter a note that explains what and why they were entering time this way?

Alert employee that they never punched out before they punch in the next day. Even if it is past the 23 hour point.
I want the employee, when they go to punch in for the day, to have a pop up notice that they never punched out the night before, even if it is past the 23 hour automatic punch out. It could say "you forgot to punch out, please leave a note with the time you left" or something like that. If it is past 23 hours and they are automatically punched out, they punch in and go about their business. I have to text them and disrupt their work to ask what time they left. Seems really cumbersome.

Allow crew members to approve their timecard daily on the MOBILE app, not only on the desktop version. (Not having access to edit timecard)
We are new to using ClockShark but when signing up one of our biggest gigs was employees being able to approve their timecards at the end of every shift. We have been using it for the past 3 days, only to find out that they can only approve their timecards on the desktop version. In our industry the guys are not super tech saavy. It took all day to train them on the app. I cant have them bounce between the app and the desk top version. Can the daily approve be added to the mobile version/app. Please note the…

Edit tasks while clocked in
Letting an employee edit the tasks that they are working on while clocked in would be a big help. Sometimes an employee will forget to switch a task but realize it 30 minutes later. If they could edit the time they started the task but not allowing them to edit start time of Job would be helpfull to not have office edit the timesheet later.

Add a set break function
Similar to the desktop adding a break that starts when you click but atuo runs for only 30 minutes with a reminder to get back to work. That way there is not a break for 28 or 32 minutes. Start break could be choosen from 10 minute paid break or 30 minute non paid lunch.

Add mileage capture
Add a function to capture Mileage at the start of the day, start of a job, or at the start of a travel task. It would be great to give the option to assign the travel to a job that is already loaded. Even better would be to photo the odometer and the system transfers that to numbers. Key would be an excel export so that it can be loaded into pay programs.

warn if employee tries to clock out without clocking out their crew.
We have people that forget to clock their crewmate out, because when they open the app it goes to the normal time clock and not to the crew clock.
If in the morning they clocked someone else in with them through crew clock, It should warn if they try to clock out without clocking out their crew.

Sign Off from app with signature included.
IDK why this hasn't been added on yet but, I would like for Supervisors to be able to DOC U SIGN timesheets with their signatures through the app instead of needlessly wasting paper and getting physical signatures. This way once payroll comes around everything is already signed off when reviewing our payroll hours.

Time Card Details suggested based on Schedule
Our crew unanimously prefers to clock their timesheets via the Manual Timesheets option. While this is fine with us, it has been often suggested within our company that ClockShark include a feature that suggests an editable timecard based off the employee's schedule. (i.e. It looks like you were on X Jobsite from X time to X time, doing X task. Is that correct? Did you take a break?) The employee can then adjust the timecard for accuracy.

Hey Joanna, thanks for sharing your idea with us!
I can definitely see that being really useful if you did work your scheduled shift that day and need to do either no edits or light edits.
I will bring this to our team so we can discuss it for future projects. Since we have tons of ideas, we tend to prioritize all suggestions with the most traction and support. If this becomes a popular request, we will build it!

Add day of week indicator to IOS date/time selector
When retroactively adding time, the start and end date/time selector dial would be much easier to use if there was a day of the week indicator next to the date (e.g., Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun). Thanks

Hey there, thanks for sharing your idea and feedback with us!
Currently, we are using the default iPhone date selector which does not give the option for showing the day of the week.

Approval Banner on Mobile Timesheets
Add an Approval banner to mobile timesheets to show employees when their times have been approved at a glance.
Currently, the only way to know if your time has been approved on the mobile app is to try editing a past time punch. We would like employees to be able to do a quick scan over their timesheets for the pay period and make sure all of their times have been approved.

Add an option to make notes non-optional that sync to QuickBooks Online
While the Clockout Questionnaire feature is great, that info doesn't sync over to QuickBooks Online. It would be nice to have an option in the settings to make notes mandatory at clockout (not questionnaire) as opposed to optional as it is this notes field that syncs into QuickBooks Online.

No automatic clock out after 23 hrs
I am still working on getting all employees to use the app correctly, but I have several that will shut off their location & notification services because they say it drains the battery. Then if they forget to clock out they don't get a notification when leaving job site. If they were still clocked in the next morning they would see they didn't get clocked out and leave me a note.

Hey Tracie, thanks for reaching out to us with your feedback!
I can see your dilemma. The 23 hour clock out is really integrated in our system, and not something easily changed. Of course we can consider all possibilities.
In the short term, you can have your crew not block notifications at least. Those should not have an impact on the battery life, although the location can especially for older phones.
But if they allow notifications, they can also set up reminders for themselves to clock out. They can do this at a certain time everyday or after they have been on the clock for a certain time.

Company Cost Time EXPENSING
Ability to enter 'Work time' on a piece of company equipment as an expense and vs. having it designated as a 'Client Job'. Currently, ClockShark requires all time to be billed to a client JOB.
This is an issue as we have Electricians, Labors and Mechanics who will work both on Client Jobs and thier time charged to said client jobs in SAGE, but then these same people will be doing 'Administrative' work for US the employer and the time spent working here actually needs to be billed to 'Equipment Maintenance' or 'Employee Training' or 'Administrative Costs'. This gets expensed…

Hey Duane, thanks for reaching out to us and providing your feedback as well as explaining your workflow.
So if I am understanding you correctly, you have some workers (electricians, laborers, mechanics, etc.) that will both track time for a client job, but also for “company time” which could involve administrative work, maintenance work, etc.
I think the most straightforward solution would be to create new jobs called “Company Time”, “Administrative Work”, or something along those lines. Then when these workers are switching into this kind of work, they can switch to this Job on ClockShark as well and all the time would be correctly allocated.
If this doesn’t work, maybe because it happens periodically throughout the day and they don’t have time to switch, you could still create these as jobs and manually enter in the time. How you get the correct amount of time would be the issue…

See more than one timesheet at a time on the mobile app
I know that visual space is always an issue on mobile apps, but it would be helpful to be able to see all of the timesheets that I have access to at one time on the mobile app, similar to the way it's shown on the desktop. Currently, I have to click on each individual employee to view their timesheet.

Hey Gururas, thanks for sharing your feedback and idea with us!
Visual space is the main limiter there like you said. One thing you can do though is open the website through your mobile browser to get that same view. This can be really useful with a tablet as well.

Allow employees to access the menu from KioskClock
It would be helpful to have the menu available to employees after they use their pin to get into the KioskClock. This way they could access the PTO feature and make time sheet corrections. To keep things consistent with KioskClock functionality, each action (edit, request, etc.) should require a picture to be taken.

Hey JT, thanks for sharing your feedback with us!
I definitely like the idea of getting Kiosk users access to view their timesheets, schedules, and request/view their available pto.
I think this would be a really valuable resource for lots of companies. With limited work time and lots of ideas, we prioritize all suggestions with the most traction and support. With great support, this idea will become one of our upcoming feature releases, so please keep voting!

Improve Clock Out Questions to include CrewClock
Allow clock out questions to be ask of the crew leader and not of the others that he is clocking in for. These questions can be used for Daily Field Reports if only the Lead can answer them. It doesn't work in crew clock.

Hey Terri, thanks for sharing your idea, and allowing folks to have a forum to support and vote for it.
I can see how having the clock out questions on CrewClock would be great for crew leaders to still ensure that questions are getting answered.
If the lead is the only answers that matter, you could have the lead clock everyone out, and then clock out themselves from the Time Clock on the app. Then they would have the clock out questions prompted!
Let me know if that is a good solution, otherwise please keep voting and commenting everyone!

Clock-In & Clock-Out ALERTS & NOTIFICATIONS!
When i'm at home-working remotely, i have no idea which one of my employees is clocking in. More Importantly, I want to know when and who is clocking OUT.
E.g.
Why is Dalton still logged in, but Angel is clocked out (They work together as a team). What is Dalton doing? Why is Dalton still on the clock? Did Dalton forget to clock out or is he working at the warehouse for some reason? This would give me better control over who is doing what and when they are doing it.9 votesJT Abbott responded
Hey Chad, thanks for sharing your feedback with us! This is absolutely possible with our Who’s Working Now page. Here you can see a huge map of everyone’s locations and you’ll see pop ups whenever someone clocks in, goes on lunch, add an attachment, clocks out, etc.
Then when they clock out for the day, all their time is available to be reviewed on the timesheets!
If you have any questions contact our support team via chat on the website, email (hello@clockshark.com), or phone (800-828-0689).

CrewClock: Allow Managers to Clock in crew with their specified time.
For example, crew starts at 6:30 am, but the manager doesn't start clocking in the group until 6:34 am. Currently, with CrewClock you clock in the crew and it registers at the current time of when you clock in the crew. It would be helpful for managers if on the mobile CrewClock the manager could select the specific time to clock the group in to eliminate the need of having to go back in at the end of day to correct each timesheet.
