Bulk editing for the schedules, reschedule all workers on a job when job is rescheduled
Allow rescheduling of entire crew when job is moved. It is very time consuming to reschedule jobs having to move each worker individually.
I have stopped using scheduler to schedule in advance due to the laborious task of moving them when they change (which is often). As such, my workers are not able to see what is tentatively coming up- a feature I was very excited about.

Individual profiles to track employment history for each employ. Track amount of hours, good behavior, amount of edits admins have to make..
Amount of jobs they go over budget on, track bad behavior things (marks on their quality) complaints, personal notes to help evaluate performance or raise potential. Also store legal documents, like scanning their W-9 forms or business agreement forms.
Allow Admins to place an alert on discrepancies that requires them to fix it before clocking in next. (signing off on time sheets at end of week with app reminder would be cool too!)10 votesCliff Mitchell responded
Adding more details to an employee’s profile to track their employment history, hiring documents, performance notes, etc. is a very inspired idea. Thanks so much for sharing that. We will keep this idea monitored as people begin to vote for it.

Allow Expenses to be Added to Jobs
For example, if I need to purchase materials for a job site, then I'd love to be able to add that to the Job reports. Perhaps add an "Add Receipt" feature that allows you to upload a photo of the receipt and input the dollar amount so it can be added to the job report.

It would be a nice to be able to change your map preferences in your administration settings to the map system you actually prefer.

overtime indicator
Put a marker on the timesheet week view that shows at which point employees reached overtime. like they do on tv during football games to show the first yard line.

Create Public View of Scheduler
It would be nice to be able to post a public schedule to a website for viewing. There is a tool out there called SmartSheet which allows you to create schedules then post a read-only view of this schedule to web pages or send individuals with the link a read-only copy. This feature allows you to share on your business kiosks. This also allows management to view schedules without logging into ClockShark or using the mobile app.

Hey, Cory, thanks for sharing this great idea. A large, readable view of the company calendar available at a URL address would be a big help.
You’re right: currently the best way to view the schedule is by logging into the website or app, but we’ll keep monitoring your idea here so that when it garners tons of support, we’ll know to add that for you. :) Feel free to let me know if you have any other suggestions or ideas.

multiple time entries with one posting
The ability to manually add time with mulitple days. So lets say "john" doesn't have the ability to clock in himself, no phone, older and doesn't use a smart phone, etc. Manually, you can clock him in from one dialogue box from 8-4 with a lunch at 12 on:
Mon x
Tue x
Thur x
Sat x
without having to post it four different times.
or to be able to open someones time card and add him to it if they worked the same shift28 votesCliff Mitchell responded

Web page that tells whether or not ClockShark's servers are working. This would help users determine whether or not the problem is with the user's network. It also allows for transparency. For example, see these status sites:

Please add the ability to view a larger than a thumbnail photo on the "Who's working now" page.
We keep the "Who's working now" page open all day and we love how real time notifications. The one thing that is lacking right now is the ability to view (more than a thumbnail size) photos on this page. We know that we can view the photos on the time sheets. But the time sheets don't give us the instant notifications that is available on the "Who's working now" page.

Bi-Weekly Overtime
Our employee overtime can be calculated over a 2 week period, i.e. and time over 88 hours in a two week pay period is considered overtime.

A more robust OT feature would be convenient to have, especially if your company follows a different overtime policy than 40 hours a week. We’ll keep monitoring this for votes, so please share your thoughts below, everyone.

Allow employees to be sorted manually, not just alphabetically
Give the Administrator the ability to be able to sort employees manually, or put them into groups - so that they will appear on the screen in the order that we want to see them. You could have a Supervisor and then everyone on their crew instead of just an alphabetical listing

More 'Add Time' buttons
Put an ADD TIME button next to each date in the employees weekly time view...so we don't have to scroll all the way back up to the top of the page to add time to a day.

No Lunch option
I'd like to see a "No Lunch" option that would allow the person in the field who worked through their lunch to select and not have lunch taken out of their time worked. This would also save time in the office so that we aren't spending time removing a lunch that was automatically added to the employee's time.

Have clockshark correctly account for time that crosses into a new day instead of recording on the day they punch in initially.
If an employee works 9PM on one day until 3 AM the next morning the time should be split on the appropriate day to ensure time is accurately recorded in the correct payroll day and week. The way it is now could create a potential overtime situation that should not be overtime if it is not recorded properly at the end of a payroll cycle.

Thanks for your feedback, Michelle. We are still trying to perfect how ClockShark should handle an overnight shift. It’s currently set to what it is, since it seemed to work well for most of our customers.
Obviously, you need it to work a little differently, so we’ll look into this more for you and explore updating that feature. If you can, would you like to share the ideal situation for how ClockShark should handle time that goes beyond midnight?

Force punch in/out for employees
Administrators/Employers should be able to punch employees in and out with having to use the crew clock function on the mobile app. For example, if an employee shows up without his cell phone one day, or goes home and forgets to clock out. Admin should be able to force punch that employee on/off the time clock immediately. Also for employees that like to milk to the clock at the end of a shift can be clocked out by admin.

Hey there, thank you for sharing your idea, and allowing folks to have a forum to support and vote for it.
For some greater feedback and to clarify, would the admin be clocking the employee in via the website? I could see that as an option.
As far as your other suggestion goes, you can actually clock employees out from the website. If you head to the Who’s Working Now screen there is a little “x” in the corner of the employee’s card on the left and you can use this to clock them out.

Visual of completed jobs
Would be nice to see when the jobs are completed. Nice if the plumbers could check out of each job so we can see what has been done and what still needs to be done that day. We can see when they are on the job by going into another screen. Nice if on main calendar screen can show a green dot for on the job and red dot for done with that job...

Hey Dan, thank you for sharing your idea, and allowing folks to have a forum to support and vote for it.
We do have the ability to set a job to a certain color. I know some companies use this to color code their jobs as new, working, completed, billed, paid, etc.
Is that what you are wanting more so, job statuses?

TimeSheet Options
When pritning reports there should be an option next to "All Employees" for "Employees with Time" that way I can prit out time sheets for employees that have accrued time in the selected pay period instead of having to go thru, write down the names, and then go and select only those employees.
10 votesCliff Mitchell responded
Thanks for the suggestion, Nicole. Not having to select only the employees with time, or not having to throw away “blank” timesheets, would be super helpful.
Let’s let folks vote on this, and we’ll try to get this added for you as it gathers support. Thanks for your valuable input.
