Lunch break on time sheets report
Have the lunch break show on the time sheet we print for the employees to sign.

Be able to print a job report that includes notes & photos
To be able to print a job report that has the photos attached. So it can be emailed to clients.

Just to clarify your request, are you asking for a signature line and Admin notes feature on the “Employee Details” report? You can print the employee notes on that report, but I’m not sure if that’s what you’re asking for. Feel free to share any extra details you have so our developers can be confident when considering it.

Auto Generated Reports
automatic reporting? Meaning, I can get up a specific report to auto generate every week and email to a designated address?

I would like a report that shows the actual time an employee punches in vs. the time they are being marked in when using quarter hr rounding
We use quarter hour rounding in ClockShark. We would like a report showing the actual time an employee punches in vs. the quarter hour they are being paid for, along with a variance. We believe some of our employees may be taking advantage of the quarter hour rounding and want an easy way to identify this.

Attachment notice (paperclip) Added to the Job Detail Report
I have attachments added by an employee I would like to have the paper clip on the job detail report so its a red flag that there are attachments . The notes show up but not the paper clip. I realize the photos will not be there but again its a red flag to the billing dept. to pull those and add them to our quickbooks invoice

At least in the CSV version.Having to manually combine lines takes forever.

TimeSheet Options
When pritning reports there should be an option next to "All Employees" for "Employees with Time" that way I can prit out time sheets for employees that have accrued time in the selected pay period instead of having to go thru, write down the names, and then go and select only those employees.

Two week pay period reports
Have a way to calculate regular and overtime hours for a two week period. (For example on the first week of a pay period an employee has 38 hours and on the second the have 43. So for that pay period they would have 78 regular hours and 3 overtime hours.) Currently you need to check week by week and add the hours together manually.

Include new and recently inactive employee names on monthly ClockShark receipt
As we get more employees added its harder to audit the amount charged when there is no name attached to the billed amount. I would like to see the breakdown on unused and prorated time for employees added and deleted for that period.

Budget Report that shows budgeted/scheduled hours vs. hours actually worked
We would like to run reports by certain jobs to show our actual hours spent, verses our budget projects to see where we stand.

In previous updates, we mentioned that you can see the budgeted hours vs. the actual hours work on the Jobs list page. However, some people wanted their crew leaders to see this information without making them admins.
We do have a new “edit jobs” manager permission which allows employees with this permission to view/edit Jobs just like admins can.
This allows you to assign this power to employees without having to make them a full admin.
We would still like a report of scheduled/budgeted time vs. actual time worked, however. Thanks for the continued support!

Allow customers/clients to view reports for their Jobs
Provide a way for customers/clients to access reports for jobs, so they can track progress and billable hours.

Hey Jennifer, thanks for sharing your feedback and ideas. I definitely think this would be super useful!
Just wanted to follow up on this, and I know it was been awhile so maybe you have already found something similar to this. You can select multiple employees at a time if you select the CTRL button your computer. But there are some kinks with it. If you scroll down while that is pressed, it will zoom out the screen. So you can only really use it when doing the selecting. Or the departments/locations feature is great for selecting groups of employees quickly.

Employee schedule notes appear in reports
Ability for admin to see notes added to employee's schedule on report runs. When I run a employee summary report or time schedule report, I want to be able to see the notes I added to their schedule.
7 votesHi, Tricia. Thanks for sharing this idea on our voting page. Currently, the notes an employee adds to their shift can appear on certain reports, like the Job Details report. Until now, we haven’t considered adding the schedule notes to the same reports, but that’s a great suggestion. Let’s allow folks to vote on this idea, and we’ll consider adding that in a future update.

Add a breakout for Department Hours when Creating a Job Detail report.
When Creating a Job Detail report, I would love to see a breakout by department. Currently the report is broken out by Dates & Notes, Employee, and Task. Just need that one more category so you can see how many hours were required per department for each job!

Hey There! :) Thanks for sharing your idea on the Voting Page! ClockShark does allow you to choose your departments when running those reports, but it will individually list those hours per employee. Being able to see the hours by department is a great idea. Let’s let folks vote on it here, and our engineering team will consider this for a future update!

Reporting past events is essential. What future optimism do we have for forecasting? That is, a CSV say with jobs that are scheduled and to what crew.

Trending Job Hours for Job Costing
Trending Report based on hours worked per job to help predict amount of time needed for future jobs (clients).

Or are you wanting a report that shows you the percentage of labor accrued to each job?

Allow user to email a report from within the portal(or app)
Current process requires that you download the file, then open your email and attach the file. This would make our bi-weekly timesheet reporting a little faster.

Monthly Summary
Total out monthly items based on assignment. This way you know OT/DT/HOURS. If you allow date ranges then you can be generic across all platforms.

I would like to have an option for what tasks effect the 40 hour work week. Ex. Travel vs Production
My guys have to clock in at drive time and then production when showing up on site.. I would like to have that drive time separate from the other task. This way when running a report for the week it gives me a true 40 hr week vs OT and then travel..
