request that start & end times are viewable without clicking on the details.
Would like the start & end times to be viewable on the schedule without clicking on the details. Currently only the start time is viewable. Being able to see both would be very helpful.

Under "Notifications / Employees / Schedules," it would be great to have a drop down up to 2 or 3 days VS current max of only one hour.

Bulk Schedule Import From Excel Spreadsheet
Would be great if we could import bulk schedules via excel spreadsheet into clock shark scheduling. It's a pretty tedious task having to key in each schedule individually.

Make the schedule a private draft until you are ready to publish it for your employees to see it.
Make it wear if your working on a schedule your employees can not see it until your ready for them to. In some businesses we work on schedules a couple of weeks out but may need to change them. Your software allows everyone to see it and that's a problem!

Job List in Schedule
We are in the trial stage now, but in the schedule portion, we love the drag and drop feature, but would love it even more if once we drag the job to the schedule it would remove it from the job list. That way, only the jobs that have not been scheduled appear in the Job List.

Specific Schedule Change Notifications to Employees / Ability to notify only 1 employee
Employee Schedule Notifications by individual employee that tells the employee what was updated so they know what specifically the change is and not just that there is a change.

Calendar Search Feature
When in the calendar, there needs to be a Search field, so we can see if a particular job or appointment has already been put on the calendar, and when it is scheduled.

Be able to click on the job on the schedule page and pull and edit job details from there
Active jobs are listed on the 'Schedule' page but its not possible to pull up the job details from there. Currently to do so I have to search through hundred of jobs on the Jobs page. It would just be nice to click on the job in the schedule and pull up the details....

Holding Deck area in the scheduling area
This suggestion is for the scheduling area. In the construction business scheduled jobs can often get preempted by things such as: weather conditions when the sun rises, lack of availability on materials 1 hour before the job, equipment malfunctions or breakdowns, employees not showing up for work. All of these and probably many more could cause a quick and immediate “changing of horses in md-stream” to another job that is approved but perhaps not specifically on the schedule. I would like to see a “Holding DECK” where approved jobs can be sitting, waiting for scheduling, that could be viewed by…

Attachments in the Schedule Feature
Allow the attaching of documents to a scheduled job so that the crew members working can access this information. This would be like work orders, detials and instructions for the worker in the field.

Thanks for the suggestion, Jordan, and for posting it so others can vote on it. We’ll keep this one under watch.
Out of curiosity, did you know that you can repeat a shift for up to 180 days out? This might be a workaround so that the next month, the same jobs are already in the calendar and you can edit them there. Feel free to let me know if that helps. Our customer success team is available at 1.800.828.0689 if you have any other questions too.

Custom titles in the calendar
My company does a lot of service work, small repair work that takes 1-2 hours. Its a pain to add a new job for each of these so we have a job called service work that we use when scheduling and for clocking in and out. I would be nice to add custom titles to calendar entries to have each customers name and not just the entry of service work.

Option to print notes in the shift assignment when you print schedule

Bulk editing for the schedules, reschedule all workers on a job when job is rescheduled
Allow rescheduling of entire crew when job is moved. It is very time consuming to reschedule jobs having to move each worker individually.
I have stopped using scheduler to schedule in advance due to the laborious task of moving them when they change (which is often). As such, my workers are not able to see what is tentatively coming up- a feature I was very excited about.

Create Public View of Scheduler
It would be nice to be able to post a public schedule to a website for viewing. There is a tool out there called SmartSheet which allows you to create schedules then post a read-only view of this schedule to web pages or send individuals with the link a read-only copy. This feature allows you to share on your business kiosks. This also allows management to view schedules without logging into ClockShark or using the mobile app.
27 votesHey, Cory, thanks for sharing this great idea. A large, readable view of the company calendar available at a URL address would be a big help.
You’re right: currently the best way to view the schedule is by logging into the website or app, but we’ll keep monitoring your idea here so that when it garners tons of support, we’ll know to add that for you. :) Feel free to let me know if you have any other suggestions or ideas.

Create a "Pending" option when scheduling.
With regard to scheduling appointments, I suggest you have a "Pending Time" option button along with the date and time currently displayed. There are customers who reserve appointment dates but are uncertain of the time. We would like to show this appointment on the calendar so our technician can plan his day accordingly. This would eliminate the alert if the tech is running late or has to reschedule due to interference with another job. Perhaps a "Pending Date" option would be great as well.
