Supervisor notes on timesheets and ability to tag for questions and immediate replies
when reviewing timesheets the ability to ask clarifying questions or leave comments about approving time would be effective. This prevents undocumented correspondence and the ability to correspond in live time.

Ability to adjust Regular and OT hours within individual timesheets for Admin
We would like the ability for the admin to adjust between Regular and OT time on timesheets. We have special situations where employees get paid OT, and once it's exported to Sage, its much harder to find the employees and edit their hours there. It would be much better if we could do that in Clockshark.

After viewing an employee's time by pay period, want to Advance to next emp. w/o using Back button.
Throughout the pay period I go through time sheets to see what I can approve, and to call employees with any questions I might have. I use the "pay period" view for an employee, to see more detail. Would like a button at the top to be able to advance to the next active employee, rather than having to use the back button and then scrolling down to select a different employee, then having to click on one of their shifts in the current week, go back to the detail page, and re-select "pay period" for the view.

Add a Check Box for Per Diem when staying overnight
When staying out of town for a project, our company pays a set Per Diem rate per night. It would be nice for there to be a checkbox for that employee to say they need Per Diem. This way we don't have to rely on Comments/Notes to make sure Per Diem gets paid.

Ability for Supervisors to edit current days punches.
Supervisor cannot enter a punch in for the current day if employee forgets. They are required to enter both punch in and punch out.
We would like to make corrections as needed not the following day.2 votes -

On the timesheet view, see a square and a start time for people who have clocked in.
On the timesheet view, see a square and a start time for people who have clocked in. If someone clocks in at 8 AM and I look at 8:15 AM, it is blank. I'd like it to show a square and a clock in (and then it can just be pending for the clock out time and the total hours worked). It's not ideal that the people who are clocked in and working appear the same as the people who didn't show up on that view. I don't want to have to go through the "who's working" page and try…

The ability to filter and put checkmarks next to employees you want to view timesheets for.
Under timesheets it would be nice to filter and check the names of more than one employee you wish to view. This option is available under "who's currently working" and would be nice to be able to do it in timesheets as well.

Multiple timezones
One should not have to upgrade to Pro for the ability to have employees to be scheduled and clock in in different timezones. This should be phone and location dependent. The phone has the geolocate enabled already, so it should not matter what timezone the company is located in., It should be dependent on where the employee is working.

Premium Pay to appear automatically if employee fails to take meal break within 5hrs from the start of the work
"Penalty" hour pay (at standard employee rate) needs to be paid to employee who fails to take his/her lunch break within 5hrs from the start of work (if works more than 6hrs). This is the newest law in California (passed on May 23, 2022). Currently we have to do it manually and its is becoming a nightmare to track every single day, every single employee and there will be stiff penalties to employers for unreported unpaid "Premium" pays.
We hope ClockShark could automatically report that "Premium" hour based on user's break clock in-clock out, like it does for overtime -…1 vote -
Dark Mode
Sometimes I have to put my time in at night and it would be helpful to have a dark mode so the light doesn't bother everyone else.

After Exporting time to QuickBooks Online or other show those days were exported
After exporting information to QuickBooks Online, Gusto, or other show on the timesheet that it has been exported so it doesn't get exported multiple times.

Hey Mark, thanks for sharing your feedback with us!
This is an interesting idea and definitely could be useful for integrations where time can be duplicated (QBD specifically).
With as many ideas as we receive, and limited work time, let’s see if this idea will pick up some traction and support. If this becomes a popular request, we will build it!

Add a total pay field for each employee
For production employees they are paid a total per each job. Add a piece pay field so manager can add the total pay to that employee.

Show original clock in/out time after editing time that has been auto-rounded.
If the "round to nearest ..." setting is enabled and the administrator goes into an employee's time to add/edit a note, after saving that day's time entry the original pre-rounded time is no longer visible - neither as a tooltip when hovering over the rounded time, or even in the audit log. As such, there is no way to see the original time that the employee clocked in or out if A) their time has been auto-rounded, AND B) the administrator has added a note or otherwise edited anything in their time.
This honestly seems more like a glitch or…

Use breadcrumbs to view time sheets and ability to bookmark departments
Right Now you use them to be able to see the week in the URL of the site.
I have some admins that only look at 1 or 2 departments at a time.
The ability to bookmark filtered views would be very useful.
This is how it works for week view now:
https://www.clockshark.com/App/TimeSheets#Week/2021-09-04Something like this for the departments:
https://www.clockshark.com/App/TimeSheets#Deartment/portablesAlso the ability to select multiple departments in a filtered view.

Hey Donald, thanks for sharing your feedback!
If I’m understanding correctly, you are wanting to see all the timesheet details for a Department for a certain date range, is that correct? That is an interesting idea. At the moment, the Timesheet Details page (the view you go to after clicking into a timesheet) can only be viewed by Employee or Job, but not by Department. You can view the Timesheets themselves filtered down by departments, but after that, you can still only click on each employee/job in that view.
What is the problem that your admins are trying to solve? Do they kind of do a manual check of everyone’s time in their department before payroll or something? Any additional information would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

clock out questions
Clock out Questions view. I would like a way to see the answers to the clockout questions the same way I see comments on jobs. I have to click farther in to see the question answers and can't see them when I am editing the job tasks and timesheets.

Please revert to showing each individual employee name in the add time window. It is very limiting to show one employee name + # more.
Please revert to showing each individual employee name in the add time window. It is very limiting to show one employee name + # more. It used to show all of the employees whose time would be added or changed and it was very helpful to see all of the employees at once. This is on the desktop version of clockshark.

Hey Phil thanks for sharing your feedback with us!
This was recently updated because the old version would “grow” as you selected more employees and this could break formatting for the selector itself as well as other areas around the website having issues.
I’m just curious with the new version, you can expand the selector to see exactly who you have chosen before submitting changes. I also would be interested in how you are adding time. Are you adding lots of time manually for large groups of people? Any additional information would be super helpful and I can pass it on to our design group, thanks!

Add a location pulldown when selecting job and task
We don't want to use geo-fencing but need to track employee locations for tax purposes. Currently we have rolled location into our tasks (jobsite - installation vs shop - installation), but it would be great to have a separate pulldown where an employee could select their location.

Thanks for sharing your feedback with us Sasha.
I can see how this would be useful in many different situations. Having that third level of tracking could help break things down even more.

add time option at the bottom of your last added time
Could there also be an add time button at the bottom of the last time added?
2 votesThe work on this has begun and will be released shortly.
We have some new updates coming to the Timesheets and one of them is that the “Add Time” button will follow you down the page when viewing the time for a user.

Timesheet page filter
It would be very helpful if I were able to view multiple selected employees on the "View Timesheets" page. Currently the filter only provides 2 options. ALL EMPLOYEES or 1 employee only. When I called for help, I was advised to use the JOB DETAIL report, but that report does not let me see the details and information the timesheet page provides. I have groups of 2 employees that work together, and trying to reconcile their times is difficult and very time consuming.
