"Penalty" hour pay (at standard employee rate) needs to be paid to employee who fails to take his/her lunch break within 5hrs from the start of work (if works more than 6hrs). This is the newest law in California (passed on May 23, 2022). Currently we have to do it manually and its is becoming a nightmare to track every single day, every single employee and there will be stiff penalties to employers for unreported unpaid "Premium" pays.
We hope ClockShark could automatically report that "Premium" hour based on user's break clock in-clock out, like it does for overtime - automatically calculates and adds to the timesheet when overtime/double time occurs.
