Job access settings by department/employee
I think job settings that are found in "additional settings" for who can access a job and which tasks can be accessed should be tied to the department so that then if a person is in a certain department, only jobs and tasks for that department will show up. The way it is now I have to go into every job and update both tasks and people access job by job. This is a pain and a lot of room for error. It's typical that a department would always have the same tasks for I think it should be an option that when setting up a department you can set tasks allowed for that department then you don't have to do it job by job (but maybe you could add/subtract at the job level). Same goes for jobs.

This idea and method is interesting. We currently have it set by the Job because that is usually the most frequently changed item. Usually companies are adding a lot of Jobs so it make sense the add the permission while you are creating the Jobs. Otherwise, you’d have to create the Job and then also go update the departments/employees to include that Job. And you’d have to do that everytime you add a Job which could be a lot.
With as many ideas as we receive, and limited work time, lets see if idea will pick up some traction and support. If this becomes a popular request, we will build it!

The two use-cases we are encountering are:
1. new employee comes on and you want to add them to a lot of jobs. You have to go into each job and add them.
2. employee changes scopes or roles and you need to make changes to the jobs they have access to. You need to go into each jib to see if they have access first.
Either way, takes a lot of time.I dont think it needs to be either you add/delete from the jobs page OR from the employee page but both. There are strong use-cases for both

Be able to see and change employee access to jobs and tasks from within employee settings page. (instead of having to go through jobs one by one)
