Change the Break Button so one can choose between Paid Meal Break (Duration: 30 min) & Paid Rest Break (Duration: 15 min)
Would like to schedule breaks when scheduling each shift. Should have drop down boxes to allow flexibility in nominating Meal Break and Rest Break (no need to have Lunch Break as only applies during the day). As different companies / countries / states have different laws drop down boxes to select the length of the breaks would be better. Auto breaks don't work for us as each employee needs to be able to start and finish their breaks as their work allows. As we need to be available during breaks, if called away can resume break when free to do so so the way the Break Button works to switch onto a break and back off is great. We need to ensure that all breaks are Paid Meal or Rest Breaks so the total shift hours worked cannot have Break times deducted. In our case each Meal Break is 30 min & each Rest Break is 10 min (both legislated as the minimum time) but we allow / pay 15 min for the Rest Breaks (1 Rest Break after 2 hours, 1 Meal Break after 4, pattern repeats depending on number of hours worked).

Thank you so much for providing your feedback with us!
I think this would be a really valuable resource for lots of companies. With limited work time and lots of ideas, we prioritize all suggestions with the most traction and support. With great support, this idea will become one of our upcoming feature releases, so please keep voting!

THIS IS THE BIGGEST THING I've found lacking!
My guys are supposed to take a 10min paid break every 2-3 hrs, and a 30 minute meal break every 4-5 hrs. But they take them in between jobs so no one takes them at the same time.
But we it to at least remind them if not make them add a break before they clock out(look at how homebase handles it)

We do both paid and unpaid breaks ('lunch') - would be nice to have a separate button for break that is paid - or a toggle once they click "break" to say whether it's paid or not. Currently we are using your work around of a job for PAID BREAK but it leaves room for error for sure and I find that I have to double check each timesheets every day to make sure they didn't code it as break to a job instead of that "Paid break" job or other errors. Also, the paid break has a maximum time per day so it would be nice if there was a button for this and it kept track of how long they've been on "paid break" - after the max time it could switch to unpaid rather than me having to do the math and manually adjusting.
