Allow an option for setting up a custom report. I want to be able to spit out my employees time sheets in a certain order like by day with job number, task, total time that day for that task, and then a sum total of the hours worked that day as well as a week total. Right now I have to get an excel file from clock shark and then convert formats and copy and paste it into a excel template I've made. It's very time consuming.

Custom reports that the system will remember would be helpful to be able to grab wanted data each time without having to figure out which report I used before and re-configure it to the way I want it.

All the data is there, let’s us choose what we want to read
Ie. I want job no, time in/out, total time each day, total week/fortnight. Then x $payrate. This would help me check start and finish times , and make it easier for the bookkeeper to enter into myob for payroll

I would like the time sheet reports to give total hours by job for the entire biweekly pay period. Currently I have to manually combine the two weeks of the pay period before entering the hours into our accounting software.

Individuals downloading for back office use and analysis require reports that provide data that is complete and easy to manipulate. There are common standards and examples that should be followed. Keep the people that make the decisions about products like yours happy.. This isn't so much a good idea as a minimum requirement for most businesses.

Rather than have to enter each individual timesheet, I'd like to be able to run a report for out of bounds, missing clock in/out, etc. for any pay period.

Allow it to give a summary of total hours in the report criteria. It would be nice to double check with quickbooks that there are no discrepancies in hours, without having to print out 3-5 pages per employee.

I would like to see more customizable options on reports. As far as what you want and don't want on the report. This would help me tremendously, in importing data to spreadsheets. Since we are a service based business this info is crucial for billing.

We need to have the lunch break start and end time included in the employee details report for CA labor law purposes. The duration does not suffice at this point.
Once I have reviewed an employee's days individually, I would just like a report that gives me their grand total of hours worked in a pay period. 1 page of names and total hours for the 2 week pay period. This would be great for when I have to calculate and submit monthly union dues. Currently reporting is to cumbersome and wastes paper.
I would also like to have access to creating a customer report. In particular I would like to ensure all my Employees are in a given department however the way the department info is presented it is very difficult to ascertain this.

be able to save a customized report, i would like to be able to run a payroll report from a certain day of the week every week so have a report i can save the shows my employees details from 10 days before today to 2 days before today customize the number days

Currently the job number just gets appended to the job name. There is no way to run a report based on job number. I have been using the job number to record worker's comp codes. It would be nice to run an annual report that groups job numbers so I can have total hours per job number/worker's comp code.

When clicking on "Time Sheets". This view is best for doing payroll then having to print a "Detailed Job" Report.
Being able to print multiple jobs per sheet would be great. Trying to save paper.

Also the report default of 1 week per page should be changed. For our company, we use a semi-monthly payroll period. 3 lines are generated for each employee and we have to manually add them up. This opens us up for potential errors.

It is important to know on particular day how many employees have logged in to ensure jobs are running smoothly. Currently a report can be downloaded for a past date but not for a current date.
