Have TimeSheets show live current hours employees have worked this week
I need the ability for the timesheets to show live what the current hours are for employees instead of waiting until they clock out. If it is Thursday at noon and I need to know which employees are approaching 40 hours right now I have to look at timesheets and then look at how many hours they have clocked in for today and figure out how many more hours they can work. I would like to have that live in one place.

Thanks for the excellent suggestion, Mike. Currently, the TimeSheet displays completed time, and the Who’s Working Now screen shows the time in-progress.
If an employee is clocked in, however, on the TimeSheets screen (beside their name) it will show the job and how long they’ve been clocked in, so you can “ball-park” the time the employee has totally worked.
I like your suggestion of having to-the-minute accuracy, so we’ll keep watch on this idea and the support it gathers so that we know when to add it. If you have any other suggestions, I’d love to hear them.

If an employee switches jobs and task several times in a day, they need a running total of their time for the day so that they know when they have worked 8 hours. My employees are going to want to make sure they get 8 hours on the clock and currently the running clock restarts with each job or task change. They need a running clock for the week also, that is visible every time they open the app so that they know when they hit 40 hours. It could end up costing me if they run up overtime, but to be fair they need to know when they hit 40 hours. My whole purpose of going to an app is to eliminate my employees doing the math. We don't always start or quit or take lunch at the same time.

You should be able to see who clocks someone in and their ongoing time same day. So for example if Pete, an employee, clocks in at 8am, if I login to clockshark at 11am, I should be able to see that so far he has 3hrs on the clock.
