Users classified as hourly "employee", salaried "superintendent", or "subcontractor "
I would like an option to specify different types of users that would clock in. For instance, a user could be an hourly "employee", a contracted "subcontractor", or a salaried "superintendent". All of their time needs to be allocated to active jobs, but compensation may not be tied to actual hours worked.

This is a great idea, and one that we receive more-and-more, especially with larger companies. Please keep your votes coming, folks, so we know to add this in a future update.

I hope that Clockshark can incorporate this. I suggested this a long time ago. The IRS has specific meaning for "employees" and listed subs as employees can really harm the business in regards to offering insurance, wages, and other taxes that you would normally pay in for employees. Thanks Clockshark for listening to the "small guys" in the trades industry. We love Clockshark and always like to offer input. Thanks Jean

i would like to see other options for employees/admin listed when people are being added to clockshark. There should be options like Subcontractors, temp employees, or limited term contractors. since I run a business and use suncontractors, I cannot use clockshark to its full potential since they are not employees. There is no other way to list them, but wish there was.

The term "Employees" has a very defined meaning to the government and how a company is required to report earnings and what regulations are involved. Our company uses "Independent Contractors" for field work with the associated 1099-Misc earnings reporting to the IRS. As such we do not have "Employees". It would be great if "Contractors" was a choice when adding new field workers to our company and have the associated fields within ClockShark show that term in the report headings, etc. instead of the term "Employee(s)".

s there a way to add Sub-Contractor to list of Rolls?
When you clip drop down list under roll. BE able to add new roll, other then Employee and Administrator.
