Reports for Time Off - restructure
It would be very beneficial to see the actual paid time annually off when pulling reports. Currently shows declined / pending / taken / approved as one total.

MARK EMPLOYEE LATE FOR THE DAY
HAVE A BUTTON WHERE ADMIN CAN MARK AN EMPLOYEE LATE ON ANY GIVEN DAY. OUR GUYS DON'T START AT THE SAME TIME EVERYDAY SO USING THE SCHEDULE WOULD BE A NIGHTMARE. IF A GUY IS TOLD TO BE ONSITE AT 6AM AND HE DOESN'T SHOW TILL 6:15AM...WE'D LIKE ADMIN TO BE ABLE TO MARK THAT EMPLOYEE LATE ON THAT DAY AND BE ABLE TO TRACK THAT IN REPORTS SO THAT WE CAN CHECK EMPLOYEE TIMELINESS WHENEVER WE WANT.

when making changes/edits show ALL edits made to that time without wiping out the previous edits.

Better sort options
I would like to see a better sort for the reports. When you get the CVS downloaded the information is in multiple rows. This is not the best way to sort information in Excel. If all the information was in one line item it would be easier to sort. Also, we find the options for reports limiting. If you select to sort on a job you can't get a report for that job by task. It gives you all tasks for a job. If you sort by the employee you get all the tasks no matter what the job. It…

Require GPS when starting and ending break
Is there any way that GPS can ping when employees are starting and ending breaks? I have several employees that forget to switch to break so this would be handy. The previous program I used had this and it was a great feature and one I really miss since switching to ClockShark. And fyi, I cannot set my employees up to ping their gps every so often as it drains their phone battery, so that is not a viable option.

I need to make notes for days with no time - no call, no show; employee suspended for 2 days, etc
They aren't things that really fit under Unpaid/PTO plans.

After viewing an employee's time by pay period, want to Advance to next emp. w/o using Back button.
Throughout the pay period I go through time sheets to see what I can approve, and to call employees with any questions I might have. I use the "pay period" view for an employee, to see more detail. Would like a button at the top to be able to advance to the next active employee, rather than having to use the back button and then scrolling down to select a different employee, then having to click on one of their shifts in the current week, go back to the detail page, and re-select "pay period" for the view.

Option for "Job to date" reports. Need to be able to longer than 1 year, currently 365 days is the most history you can get with 1 report
When jobs exceed 1 year and we want to see labor hours in total or by EE etc....we can only pull in 365 days of data at a time. For jobs that exceed 1 year in time, we need to pull 1 report for each 365 days increment and then combine the report to get the data.

Allow edits of clock in times while an employee is on the clock
When an employee has an issue with the app or forgets to clock in, they should be able to ask for their punch in to be updated prior to clocking out or switching jobs. I have to track their punch change requests and edit it after they clock out. It would be very nice to be able to edit that while they are on the clock

Please offer custom pay period options. Our semi-monthly clients are not all 1st-15th and 16th-EOM.

Timesheet total changes after an employee has been made inactive. Keep Total the same on approved weeks
It would be nice when going back to previously approved weeks for the total number of hours to include employees who have been made inactive. Currently if you scroll back and you have made an employee inactive that is no longer with you their time is removed even though you have paid and approved those hours.

Ability for supervisor to change total Vacation hours per day without declining and requiring employee to submit new request.
When an employee requests 8 hours PTO for a specific day and their normal hours worked for the week is 40 hours, as a supervisor, it would be easier to be able to alter the 8 hours to 7 hours if they have worked 33 hours the remainder of the week. We don't pay more PTO than the normal work week hours. As it is now, we have to decline the request, and have the employee submit a new request for the needed hours. Supervisor notes on timesheets and ability to tag for questions and immediate replies
when reviewing timesheets the ability to ask clarifying questions or leave comments about approving time would be effective. This prevents undocumented correspondence and the ability to correspond in live time.

Overtime and Doubletime settings for Monday-Friday
We can set overtime and double time for Saturday and Sunday as applicable, but right now Monday through Friday we can only set a daily and weekly overtime rule. Make it so companys can customize overtime and doubletime for any day of the week. Different labor contracts require Fridays for example to be all overtime, and often there are specific start times for OT and DT.

I have 3 separate PTO accrual policies and they are all based on tenure at the company. Currently, I have to track when each employee started and manually change their PTO accrual policy when they reach a certain Tenure period. It would be great if I could put in a date and it would automatically change their PTO accrual rate when they reach that date. Built in communication
Not sure if this was already suggested but as a company we use WhatsApp for everything communication amongst the office and techs. Would be cool if ClockShark had a similar integration. We have a group for Permit info, Team messages, Jobs complete etc. And I have one that leaves the owner out :) If I could communicate from my office to the guys within the app it would be efficient as they'd only have to have one app open all day so there would be less distraction.

Make clock out questions available at task changes
I would like to be able to use clock out questions when employees change tasks. We pay our employees drivetime back to the shop when they leave the job site for the day so they don't clock out right then. We have certain things we want to make sure are done before they leave the job site.
